Tumoxil for eliminating Lipomas (benign fatty lumps in canines)

Lipomas are benign fatty lumps that appear in middle to older dogs, they also appear in over weight females.  Certain dog breeds including, but not limited to; Doberman Pinschers, Miniature Schnauzers, Labrador Retrivers, and Mixed breeds are more acceptable in developing Lipomas.  Tumoxil™ is designed to eliminate Lipomas in canines.

Lipomas (fatty tumors) are soft masses under teh skin.  They can be found anywhere on the body, but they are most frequently located on the belly (mid-chest and down) and upper legs.  Most tumors grow slowly and do not usually spread to other parts of the body.  They're freely moveable under the skin, they are not painful, usually no hair loss, and they don't cuase redness or irritation to the skin.

In most cases dogs develop Lipomas as a natural result of the aging process.

Any and all lumps should be checked by your veterinarian.  Your vet will assess the location, duration, firmness and size.  A needle aspirate may also be taken to look at what type of cells makes up the lump.  This is hte easiest way for your vet to determine if a lump is benign or malignant.

A benign tumor is on that grows slowly and does not spread to other parts of the body.  If it can be surgically removed in its entirety, the tumor will not grow back.

A malignant tumor, on the other hand, is usually fast-growing and more aggressive.  Even if the tumor is surgically removed, it tends to grow back in the same location, or has the ability to spread to other locations or vital organs.

Many animals have Lipomas (fatty tumors) all their lives and they remain benign.  However, if a lump is malignant, your dog has a better prognosis if treated early.  Options for treatment will be greater and your dog will have a better chance of recovery.

After you vet has assessed the lump and you are officially "watching it" for any changes, it is recommended that you:

Take a piece of wax paper and a felt marker

Lay the wax paper over the lump

Trace the outer edges of the lump

Date the wax paper

Repeat every month

Using this method with Amber Technology Tumoxil™ is a great way to monitor Lipomas.
